Bullying prevention

The board recognizes the negative impact that bullying has on student health, welfare, safety, and the school's learning environment and prohibits such behavior. Bullying is defined as any ongoing pattern of physical, verbal, or electronic abuse on school grounds, in a vehicle owned, leased, or contracted by a school being used for a school purpose by a school employee or his or her designee, or at school sponsored activities or school sponsored athletic events.

Bullying may constitute grounds for ling-term suspension, expulsion or mandatory reassignment, subject to state and federal statues and the district's student discipline and due process procedures.

LCPS Bullying Report Form

Bullying is a serious issue and will not be tolerated. Use this form to report bullying that occurred on school property; at a school-sponsored activity or event off school property; on a school bus; on the way to and/or from school; on social media or through text message, during the current school year.
