Join Our Team at Loup County Public School

Loup County Public School is more than a school—it’s a community. At Loup County Public School, we take pride in providing a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for our students, families, and staff. Our small campus allows us to build strong relationships, work closely as a team, and make a meaningful impact every day.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance/Custodian to join our school family. This is a 12-month position that offers a very competitive wage, paid time off, and district-paid insurance. Suggested work hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Maintenance/Custodian plays an important role in keeping our school running smoothly. Responsibilities include general maintenance and upkeep of school facilities—both indoor and outdoor—such as mowing, snow removal, painting, floor care, event preparation, cleaning, and minor repairs. This position is vital to maintaining a clean, safe, and positive learning environment for our students and staff.

Loup County Public School is a great place to be and a great place to work. We value teamwork, reliability, and pride in one’s work. If you enjoy hands-on work and want to be part of a close-knit school community with great students and staff, we encourage you to apply.

Interested applicants should contact Darrin Max, Superintendent, at 308-942-6115, or stop by the Loup County School Office to pick up an application.

Come be a part of a school where your work truly matters.
